FAQs

Where are you?  And do you guys have parking?

I’m glad you asked!  We sure do.  We are at 209 10th Ave. South STE 200, Nashville TN  37203, and are located in the historic Cummins Station building at the corner of 10th and Demonbruen.

If you are turning off of Demonbruen onto 10th, Cummins Station (giant red brick building) will be on your right.  We are actually at the far end of Cummins Station away from Demonbruen.

If you drive right past Cummins Station, you will see a parking lot on the left surrounded by a chain link fence, along with a sign indicating parking for TLR.  It’s free, so come early and get a spot!

What are your hours of operation?

Well, here’s the general rule of thumb:

• Monday – Thursday Lunch 11AM-2PM, Dinner 5PM-10PM/Shows at 6PM & 8PM
• Friday Lunch 11AM-2PM, Dinner 6PM-11PM/Shows at 7PM & 9PM
• Saturday Closed for Lunch, Dinner 6PM-11PM/Shows at 7PM & 9PM
• Sunday Sunday Brunch 10AM-2PM, Dinner 6PM-10PM

Now, we say that is the “rule of thumb”, because, let’s face it…this is Nashville.  We’re all a little crazy in Music City.  So one night we might decide to be a little wild and have a surprise show at 5PM, or be closed for a Private Event on a Tuesday.

However, our Show Schedule Calendar will always have the most updated info about show times and private event closings.  Or, feel free to give us a ring at 615-259-3600 to find out what’s going down at TLR.

Are children allowed at TLR?/Do you have an age limit.

Children are certainly allowed at The Listening Room.  We pride ourselves in being the premiere place in Nashville for the entire family to be able to enjoy the best singers and songwriters in Music City.

Is smoking allowed?

Not unless you’re currently on fire.    However, we do have a fantastic, year-round patio on which smoking is permitted.  Unless you’re on fire, which is pretty much discouraged anyplace on site.

What kind of food do you guys serve?

All sorts of great stuff.  Trust us, it’s delicious.  Check out our menu to learn more.

Please note, however, that we cannot be held liable for keyboards/computer equipment damaged due to excessive drooling.  Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

How can I be booked to play at TLR?

Check out our booking page for info.  And send a large of amount of small, unmarked bills.  Ha ha.  We’re just kidding about that last part.  Kinda.

Do you have an open mic night?

We sure do!  Open mic sessions are held every Sunday, beginning at 8:00 PM.  Sign ups start at 7, so don’t be late.  Unless you happen to bring with you the aforementioned small, unmarked bills…

Is TLR available to rent for private event?

We certainly are.  In addition to being the best sounding music venue in Nashville, we are also a 5200 square foot event space with a 250 person capacity.  Check out our Catering and Private Events information page to learn more.
